Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“you”, “user”) and the operator of saasclips.com (“saasclips”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

saasclips.com is a web-based tool that accepts a landing page URL submitted by you, fetches its publicly accessible content, and renders short widescreen MP4 videos for use on social platforms. Each distinct landing page URL (“launch”) is unlocked by a one-time payment. The service is operated as an independent project and is not affiliated with any social platform referenced in its output.

2. Eligibility and account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use saasclips.
• One account per person. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account or access credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it current.
• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion within 7 days.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use saasclips to:

• Submit URLs you are not authorised to access or represent, including pages behind paywalls, private areas, or sites belonging to third parties without their consent.
• Generate videos for content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, threatening, or promotes violence or discrimination.
• Impersonate any person, company, or brand you do not own or have explicit authorisation to represent.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or access-control features of the service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code from the service or its templates.
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract data from saasclips using automated means beyond normal browser use.
• Resell, sublicense, or distribute access to the service or its renders as a competing product.
• Upload or submit content containing malware, phishing material, or URLs designed to attack, deceive, or harm third parties.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction.

We may suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these rules, without prior notice and without refund of any payments made.

4. Your content and licence grant

URLs you submit and landing page content you own remain yours. The MP4 videos rendered from your launch are yours to use without restriction — commercially, for clients, for advertising, or any other lawful purpose. We claim no ownership over the output videos.

By submitting a URL you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to fetch, store temporarily, and process the content at that URL solely for the purpose of rendering your video. This licence terminates once the render is complete and the scratch files are purged.

You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to the URLs, brand assets, and content you submit, and that our processing of that content will not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

5. Our intellectual property

The saasclips website, application code, render templates, visual design, brand marks, and all associated software are our proprietary property and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use our trademarks, trade dress, or brand assets.

You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to access and use the service for its intended purpose while your account remains in good standing.

6. Payments and refunds

• Each launch is a one-time payment of $10.99 USD that unlocks a single landing page URL permanently. There is no recurring subscription and nothing auto-renews.
• An unlocked launch entitles you to unlimited re-renders and copy edits for that URL at no additional cost.
• Refund policy: if you are not satisfied with your rendered video, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will refund that launch in full, no questions asked. If a render fails due to a fault on our end, we will re-render it free of charge or refund it at your preference.
• We reserve the right to change our prices. Price changes apply only to future purchases and never to launches already unlocked.
• Applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) may be added at checkout depending on your location. All prices shown are exclusive of tax unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By completing a purchase you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store or have access to your full card details.

7. Availability and service changes

We aim for best-effort uptime. saasclips is an independent project operated without a formal SLA. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available access to the service. We may perform scheduled maintenance, and third-party outages from hosting, authentication, or payment providers may cause temporary interruptions beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire service at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will provide reasonable notice and refund any launches unlocked but not yet rendered.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SAASCLIPS IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, that renders will be error-free or produce a specific creative outcome, or that any defect will be corrected. Video quality depends on the content and structure of the URL you submit.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

• OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SAASCLIPS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 50.
• WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless saasclips and its operators, affiliates, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the service; (b) any URL, content, or brand assets you submitted; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

11. Force majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, internet outages, cyberattacks, third-party infrastructure failures, or changes in law or regulation.

12. Termination

You may stop using saasclips at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably suspect abuse or fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your licence to use the service ends immediately. Sections covering intellectual property, indemnification, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

13. Dispute resolution

If you have a dispute with us, contact us first. Most issues can be resolved quickly by DM at @saasclip on X or by email. We will respond within 5 business days.

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts specified in the Governing Law section below. You and we both waive the right to a jury trial to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Governing law

The service is operated from servers located in Frankfurt, Germany. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the location where those servers are hosted. Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights you may have under the consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.

15. General provisions

• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service and supersede all prior agreements or understandings, written or oral.
• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision is severed from these Terms without affecting the enforceability of the remaining provisions.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision in any future instance.
• Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights freely in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Notices. We may provide notices to you via the email address associated with your account or via a notice on the service.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify active users by email and update the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with a change, stop using the service before it takes effect.
