This Privacy Policy explains how saasclips.com (“saasclips”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you use our service. We have written it in plain language. If something is unclear, contact us and we will explain it.
1. Who we are
saasclips.com is an independent software product. We are the data controller for personal data collected through the service. Our servers are hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. Contact details are at the bottom of this page.
2. What we collect and why
We collect only what is necessary to operate the service. Here is every category of data we process and what we use it for:

We do not use analytics pixels, advertising trackers, fingerprinting, or any form of cross-site tracking. We do not sell data to anyone.
3. Sub-processors and third parties
We use the following third-party services that may process your personal data on our behalf. Each is bound by a data processing agreement or equivalent contractual obligations:
- Supabase, Inc. (United States / EU) — authentication, database storage, and file storage. Your account data, launch history, and rendered MP4s are stored here. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II certified.
- Stripe, Inc. (United States) — payment processing. Stripe handles and stores all card data. We receive only a payment confirmation record. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) — VPS infrastructure running the render pipeline. Data processed here stays within the EU (Frankfurt data centre).
We do not share personal data with any other third party unless required to do so by law or valid legal process. If we add a new sub-processor, we will update this page before they start processing your data.
4. Data locations
Our render infrastructure runs on servers in Frankfurt, Germany. Supabase and Stripe operate data centres in multiple regions including the United States and Europe. Each sub-processor applies appropriate safeguards for any cross-border data transfers as required by their contractual obligations. 5. Cookies
We set exactly one cookie: a secure, HTTP-only session cookie used to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies. No marketing cookies. No third-party cookies are injected by saasclips.
Your browser's built-in cookie controls let you delete or block cookies at any time. Blocking the session cookie will prevent sign-in from working.
6. Data retention
- Account and launch records — kept while your account is active and for 12 months after deletion, to satisfy tax, audit, and dispute-resolution obligations, then permanently deleted.
- Scraped page content and render scratch files — purged immediately after the video is delivered. We do not retain copies of your landing page content.
- Generated MP4s — uploaded to private storage tied to your account and delivered via short-lived signed URLs. Retained while your account is active so you can re-download them; removed when you delete your account.
- Server request logs — rolling 30-day window, then automatically purged.
- Payment records — retained for 7 years as required by applicable tax law, then deleted.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include TLS encryption for all data in transit, encryption at rest for database storage, and access controls that restrict data to personnel who need it to operate the service.
No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify affected users promptly and take immediate steps to contain and remediate the issue.
8. Automated processing
We do not use your personal data for profiling or automated decisions that affect you as a person. Render outputs are generated algorithmically from the content you submit — that is a technical process, not a decision about you.
9. Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data. To exercise any of them, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days.
- Access. Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction. Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion. Ask us to delete your personal data. We will do so within 7 days, except where retention is required for tax or audit purposes.
- Portability. Request your launch history and account data in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON).
- Restriction. Ask us to restrict processing of your data while a dispute about its accuracy or our use of it is resolved.
- Objection. Object to how we are using your data. We will review and respond within 30 days.
- Withdraw consent. Where you have given consent for processing, you may withdraw it at any time.
We do not sell personal data to anyone, ever. Contact us to exercise any of the rights above.
10. Children
saasclips is not directed at anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Links to other sites
Videos generated by saasclips may reference or be published on third-party platforms (X, LinkedIn, etc.). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those platforms. Review their privacy policies independently.
12. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to this policy, we will notify active users by email and update the “last updated” date above at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
